Jim Corbett National park, is the oldest park in India which was established in the year 1936 to protect the Bengal tiger. There are close to 70,000 visitors every year and the crowd has been on the increase. Corbett has got more than 488 species of ‘fauna’ and a variety of plants. This makes it one of the best parks in the world. Apart from Royal Bengal Tiger Corbett is also a home to a sizeable population of the endangered Asiatic elephant and other critically endangered species including the Ghariyal. Some of the other known mammal species reside in Corbett include Asiatic Black Bear, Hog Deer, Sambar, Sloth Beer, Yellow-throated marten, Otters and many more to list. Corbett also hosts a diversity of aqua fauna and birdlife with approximately 600 species including the great pied hornbill, white-Backed Vulture, Hodgson's bushchat, orange breasted green pigeon, Pallas fish eagle, golden oriole, tawny fish owl, Indian Pitta, Scarlet Minivet and reptile like the critically endangered Ghariyal, mugger Crocodiles, the king Cobra and many more to list. The tiger is not only the star attraction of the Jim Corbett National Park but is the most celebrated of the wild animals in India. This wonderful creature of God symbolizes the power of nature and finds an important place in our culture, mythology and legends. The majesty has been treated and worshiped as the ruler of the forest.

Arrive at Delhi from your home destinations. Our drivers would be ready to pick you up from the airport to drive you to Ramnagar. Have lunch enroute. Reach the resort by late evening. The tour skipper would brief you all about the next four days program. Dinner and retire at the resort
Wake up early morning, and proceed towards the most sought off zone at Corbett, The Dhikala Grass lands. The entry gate is about 30 kms from the resort and the winding roads during winters would make you dream. Wear warm clothes to protect yourself from the elements. Snugging under a thick jacket and blanket is always fun!! At the gate, you have to produce your original id cards and get the permits. Our drives and the tour skipper would help you in this. You have entered the jungle now!! The drive to the FRH would take about two hours. The pristine jungle of Corbett, will take you off your feet with its breath taking landscapes. Luck people have encountered the Big cat as soon as they enter the jungle!! So keep your fingers crossed. Reach the FRH ( Forest rest house ). Settle down. Lunch is served from 1PM. Only veg food is served at FRH as it is right in the core jungle. The Ramganga river flowing with the mist slowly trying to wake up is a sight you can never miss. After noon game drive starts at 2PM. Assemble on time to get the best out of your drives.Meet in the evening for some learnings, knowledge sharing on Wildlife Movie about Corbett Tigers etc. More details on this once we get there, over night at Dhikala forest rest House.
Our experienced drivers would take you across the grass lands. Their terrain and animal behavioural knowledge is second to none!! The cold breeze from the Ramganga river would make you think, why do i have to go back to an Urban town. For one last day, you would want to listen to the cracking sound of the wooden bridge across the river when you drive on top of it. Over night at FRH.
Wake up early, enjoy a small drive in the jungle. Today, you would be requested to have an early breakfast as you need to drive back to town. Transfer to Delhi by Road in AC vehicles.Drop at Delhi Airport, End of Tour..
