Come join us to treat your eyes to these exotic birds and a riot of colour in the abundant beauty.Sattal is situated in the Lower Himalayan Range and is unique for its biodiversity and ecological amplitude. There are seven inter-connected lakes here and hence the name Sat-tal which means seven lakes in local language. It has 500 species of resident and migratory birds, 20 species of mammals, over 525 species of butterflies and over 11,000 species of moths, beetles, bugs and other insects.
The flora covers a wide and diverse range of plants ranging from Bryophytes, orchids, rare climbing plants, ferns, lichens, fungi, medicinal herbs and shrubs. A cluster of pristine lakes set against the captivating surroundings of dense oak and pine woods, Sattal in the state of Uttarakhand unfurls the rustic beauty of the Lower Himalayas. At an altitude of 4000 feet Sattal, also pronounced as Sattal proffers an unruffled environment with abundance of natural flora and fauna.
Calm and quite ambiance of Sattal makes this sleepy locale in the outskirts of Nainital as a most memorable and impressive tourism spots. Pangot on the other hand is located about 15 kilometers from Nainital, which is a popular hill station. The drive to here passes through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, which are excellent birding spots. India is famous world over for its rich flora and fauna. Pangot is one such beautiful hamlet and walking into Pangot is like stepping into a remote Himalayan village. The Sundarbans mangrove forest, one of the largest such forests in the world (140,000 ha), lies on the delta of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna rivers on the Bay of Bengal.
It is adjacent to the border of India’s Sundarbans World Heritage site inscribed in 1987. The site is intersected by a complex network of tidal waterways, mudflats and small islands of salt-tolerant mangrove forests, and presents an excellent example of ongoing ecological processes. The area is known for its wide range of fauna, including 260 bird species, the Bengal tiger and other threatened species such as the estuarine crocodile and the Indian python. Join us to explore these Magical Mangroves by boat, maybe you would get to sight the swamp Tiger too!!
Best Time to visit
September to March are the best months to visit Sundarbans, the winters being the most pleasant period in the area. Summers could be quite hot and send the temperature shooting up, but are an ideal time to visit the wildlife sanctuary..

Day 02 (BLD):
Leave Delhi early morning to take the train to Kadhgodam. This is a small town in the district of Himachal Pradesh. Drive through the scenic hills and beautiful vistas to reach our resort at Pangot for lunch. Spend the afternoon soaking into the hill station atmosphere here, go for short walks or spend a couple of hours birding in and around the resort. Sun sets pretty quickly here and is also spectacular from various view points. We retire after dinner and a short discussion on our plan for next morning.
Day 03 (BLD):
Enjoy the morning and evening drives/walks for birding with expert guides. Meet in the evening for some Learnings, knowledge sharing and/or image reviews. One can go on long walks as the trails are very beautiful. The multitude of birds’ songs would be heard from a distance. A trained guide would accompany you on these walks. Stay at the resort.
Day 04 (BLD):
We start very early this morning and will look for Kokolas, Cheer and Khalij pheasants. We will get back to our resort after having breakfast at a high point with view of snow clad mountains. We checkout around 12 noon and drive to Sattal with lunch on the way. We go on a birding trail this evening at Sattal. Stay at the resort.
Day 05 (BLD):
This will be our last birding session of the trip. We start early and get on different trails as two groups depending on our target list. We get to Kathgodam to catch our night train to Delhi. After fretting up at a hotel, we fly to Kolkotta. Evening is spend go around Kolkotta. It is very famous for its trams and the famous Howrah bridge. Stay at Kolkotta.
Day 06 (BLD):
Pick up from Kolkata airport in an exclusive vehicle and transfer to Godkhali, Sundarbans (Journey time 3 hrs. approx), followed by one and half hours of spectacular cruise journey through rivers Bidya, Hogol, Gomar, Gundi and Durgaduani with lunch on board. We will go for a boat safari and after watching the sunset, Dinner on board. Overnight stay at boat.
Day 07 (BLD):
Full day boat safari inside Sundarbans forest and visit to various watch towers like Sudhanyakhali. The sweet water pond at Sudhanyakhali attracts a lot of wild animals and offers you the chance to view them from close quarters. lunch and dinner on board. Overnight stay at Boat.
Day 08 (BLD):
Today involves full day cruise through rivers & narrow creeks of Sundarbans. We would the famous watch towers of Sudhanyakhali, Do Banki and Nethi Dhopani(According to Sightings report). Canopy walk at Do Banki gives an opportunity to watch wildlife from netted enclosure. All meals would be served on boat, overnight stay at a resort.
Day 09 (BLD):
Drive to Kolkatta to take your flights to Delhi. Stay at Delhi.
Day 10 (BLD):
Drop at Delhi airport. End of tour.

Kanha Tiger reserve is also known as Kanha National park is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh. It is home for more than 1000 species of plants and trees. It is one of the very few places on earth where the forests is interspersed with the meadows. The highland forests are tropical moist dry deciduous type and of a completely different nature with bamboo. And these are some of the favorite places of the tigers. Kanha Tiger Reserve has species of tiger, leopards, wild dogs, wild cats, foxes and jackals. Among the deer species, Swamp Deer or Hard Ground Barasingha is pride of the place as it is the only sub species of swamp deer in India.

November to March the weather is pleasant. April, May and early, June it gets extremely hot at Kanha. But during summers the sightings of the big cats are high as they come near the water holes regurarly.
Kanha Jungle Safari
Arrive at Nagpur airport on or before 8.30 AM,drive to Kanha and reach the resort around lunch time. After lunch head to the meadows of Kanha for the first jungle safari.After soaking into the jungle atmosphere, retire for an early start next morning.
Day 02 & 03:
Enjoy the morning and evening drives in the forests of Kanha. Meet in the evening for some Learnings, knowledge sharing and/or Wildlife Movie about rich flora and fauna of this large tiger reserve. More details on this once we get there.
Enjoy the morning drive to get one final glimpse of the Tiger. Return to resort to at 10AM, quickly packup and leave for Jabalpur airport for our flights back home.

How to reach
Nearest airport - Nagpur
Nearest station - Amravati.
Reach Nagpur on or before 9AM. Our representative with the vehicle would be waiting to receive you at the airport. Guests arriving by train are requested to arrive the previous night and stay over at Nagpur and join the others on Day 1 at the Nagpur airport. The drive from Nagpur to Shahnoor takes about 6 hours. You would be stopping for lunch enroute at a veg hotel. Reach the resort by 4PM. Settle in your allocated accommodations. The skipper would meet you all at the lawn to brief about the trip. Groups would then proceed for a interesting Night safari. Dinner and retire at the resort.
Wake up early at 5AM, proceed to the first jungle drive. Safaris would be done by gypys and other SUVs depending. There would be only 4 participants per vehicle to ensure every one gets a window seat for better views of the forests. The participants would be split into two groups and sent to two zones. This zones would be alternated for subsequent safaris. The safaris duration is for 4 hours both in the mornings and evenings. Morning break fast would be served inside the jungle. Lunch would be served at 1PM to 2PM. Afternoon safari would start at 2.30PM. Meet at 7PM to clear any doubts on photography and also share tips to your new friends!! Dinner and retire at the resort.
Though the tigers and leopards are very elusive , one stands a very good chance to sight them during the hot summers. They would be found generally near the water holes quenching their thirst. The other common mammals found here are the sloth bear, barking deers, wild dogs, wild boar, sambhar deers, cheetahs, Nilgai, Indian Gaur, Jackal and Indian fox. The mamas one can expect to sight during the night safaris are Ratel, Indian crested porcupine, Palm Civet and the sometimes the Pangolin.
The forests is home to a multitude of birds. The common ones are Black headed Oriole, Magpir Robin, Lapwings, Racket table drongo, Iora, Indian peafowl, Indian pitta ( found during the summers ), red jungle fowl, Indian grey hornbilll, Owls, Wood peckers, Cresent serpent eagle etc.
There are many reptiles which are rare but can be sighted on a lucky day!!
After a hot tea, proceed to the last safari inside the jungle. Check out at 11AM. Lunch enroute. Drop at Nagpur airport/ station. Return trains or flights from Nagpur to be on or after 8PM. End of tour.

Masai Mara is one of the largest game parks in the world. It lies in the Narok county of Kenya. Formed in the year 1961, this park covers a large area of 1861 sq kms. The word Mara means spotted in Masai language. Spotted with acatia trees these endless plains are a land of wilderness treasures. The open grasslands are filled with cheetah, lion, millions of wildebeest, and over 450 species of birdlife, including vultures, marabou storks, secretary birds, horn- bills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, and African pygmy falcons. The shy black rhinoceros population is difficult to spot except at a great distance. Mara is usually referred as the Mecca of wildlife. The World biggest spectacle happens when more than 4 million wildebeests and other ungulates cross to the Mara during end July to October. This event attracts more than half a million tourists every year to Maasai Mara.
Arrive to Nairobi, JKIA international airport by 7PM. Our drivers would be ready to pick you up and drop at the hotel ( Ibis or similar ). After a short briefing about the tour, have dinner and retire for the day.
After an early morning breakfast, you would start your journey to Maasai Mara by road. The drive takes about 6 hours and one drives through rift valley. The first stop is at the escarpment, where you can get down and immerse yourself in the beautiful landscape. After a light refreshment, you head to Maasai Mara. Check in the resort ( Kimana or similar ). Spend your time at leisure that evening at the camp fire. Dinner and rest at the resort.
Day 03 to Day 06:
Enjoy morning/ evening game drives at Maasai Mara game reserve with packed breakfast and lunch. Maasai Mara is home for the Big 5 and during this period, one can witness some very interesting river crossings and hunts. This is the best season to explore Mara.
Get up at liesure, have breakfast and drive to Nairobi. Lunch would be served enroute. We would stop over at a curio shop for you to purchase the articles which the Maasai tribe make. End of tour.
