The southern Western Ghats have rainforests located at high altitudes called the South Western Ghats montane rain forests and the Malabar Coast moist forests are found on the coastal plains. The Western Ghats is one of the eight hottest biodiversity hotspots in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Tour HighlightsThe State of Karnataka boasts the top three tiger sanctuaries in India. These three forests have the highest number of tigers in India. Day 01 (B):
Arrive at the IT capital of India, Bangalore. Once a calm city has now become oe of the busiest places on Earth. It is called as the Silicon valley of India because of the large presence of the IT companies. Today you will spend your time at leisure at the resort. With a very good presence of UBER and OLA cabs, guests can always go out to explore the city at their cost. Stay at the hotel.
Day 02 (BLD):
Wake up early and drive to Biligiri Ranganthittu Hills ( BRT ). Breakfast would be packed from the hotel. BRT sanctuary is unique because it has scrub, dry decidous, moist deciduous, semi-evergreen, evergreen and shola forests. It is also known for its many endemic species of plants including valuable medicinal ones. The ancient temple dedicated to Biligiri Rangaswamy in the sanctuary is a place of pilgrimage for over 500 years.
Reach the resort for lunch. After lunch proceed to the first jungle safari. The resort is right in the middle of the jungle. This is the only place in South India where a resort is inside the forests. The enchanting forests is home for elephants, gaurs ( Indian Bison ), sambars, chitals ( spotted deers ), bears, panthers and tigers. It also is home for 250 species of birds, 22 species of reptiles and amazing 116 species of butterflies. Stay at the resort. .
Day 03 (BLD):
Enjoy the morning and evening drive in the jungle. After breakfast, one can walk around the property. The multitude of birds and their songs would make you feel meditative. Stay at the resort.
Day 04 (BLD):
After the morning drive and breakfast, we proceed to Bandipur Tiger reserve. This forest is at the foot hills of Ooty and is in the rain shadow region of the hill. It is a shrub jungle and is ideal for wildlife. The bird life in Bandipur during winter is exceptionally good. The forest has a large number of mammals and reptiles. The sighting of the Tiger in this jungle is truly enjoyable. Apart from the tiger, this is home for the leopards and wild dogs. The sloth bears come out in the evenings to dig the tubers as the elephants return home from the water hole. The safari in this jungle is never boring. Stay at the resort.
Day 05 (BLD):
SEnjoy the morning up the hill opposite to the resort. The nature walk takes about an hour to reach the hill top. It is very exciting as one gets to witness the wild on foot. A trained naturalist will accompany you on this walk. After breakfast, we would drive to the heritage city of Mysore. Mysore is known as the city of Palaces. Mysore Palace also known as Amba Vilas Palace located at the heart of Mysore city is the most prominent tourist destination of Mysore that attracts millions of visitors round the year. This historical palace housed within the Old Fort facing the Chamunda Hills stands as the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty who ruled the Kingdom of Mysore from 1399 to 1950. After the visit to the Palace, head to the hotel for a much needed rest. Stay at the hotel.
Day 06 (BLD):
After break fast, drive to Kabini. Kabini jungle lodges resorts is among the top 50 wildlife resorts in the world. The waterbody which adjoins the resort attracts huge herds of alphabets. The highest congress of Asiatic elephants happens at this place during summers. Stay at the resort.
Day 07 (BLD):
Wake up early to explore the boat ride into the forest. The Kabini reservoir is home to a multitude of water birds. One can sight the Osprey perched on the dead branches looking out to catch the unlucky fish. This is a favourite place for the river otters. They swim in large groups. After the evening drive, enjoy the wildlife movie at the resort. Kabini is also known for its very high density of leopards. The highlight is there is a Blackpanther, one of the most elusive animal of the forests. The lucky ones will sight this magical animal.
Day 08 (BLD):
After the last morning drive in the jungle and a piping hot breakfast, we head out to Bangalore. Sad but true every good journey comes to and end. But you will all return home with a life time memory and loads of pictures to share with your family and friends. Get dropped at Bangalore Airport to take your return flights home.

Kanha Tiger reserve is also known as Kanha National park is the largest national park of Madhya Pradesh. It is home for more than 1000 species of plants and trees. It is one of the very few places on earth where the forests is interspersed with the meadows. The highland forests are tropical moist dry deciduous type and of a completely different nature with bamboo. And these are some of the favorite places of the tigers. Kanha Tiger Reserve has species of tiger, leopards, wild dogs, wild cats, foxes and jackals. Among the deer species, Swamp Deer or Hard Ground Barasingha is pride of the place as it is the only sub species of swamp deer in India.
Summer:(April to June) Max Temperature can go upto 43^c Monsoons :(Mid June to September), Winters:(November to Febraury) Tempeartures can drop to -2^c.

Jabalpur. It is 170 kms from Kanha.
Gondia. It is 145 kms from Kanha.
Best Time to visit Kanha National Park
November to March the weather is pleasant. April, May and early, June it gets extremely hot at Kanha. But during summers the sightings of the big cats are high as they come near the water holes regurarly.
Kanha Jungle Safari
Arrive at Nagpur airport on or before 8.30 AM,drive to Kanha and reach the resort around lunch time. After lunch head to the meadows of Kanha for the first jungle safari.After soaking into the jungle atmosphere, retire for an early start next morning.
Day 02 & 03:
Enjoy the morning and evening drives in the forests of Kanha. Meet in the evening for some Learnings, knowledge sharing and/or Wildlife Movie about rich flora and fauna of this large tiger reserve. More details on this once we get there.
Enjoy the morning drive to get one final glimpse of the Tiger. Return to resort to at 10AM, quickly packup and leave for Jabalpur airport for our flights back home.

How to reach
Nearest airport - Nagpur
Nearest station - Amravati.
Reach Nagpur on or before 9AM. Our representative with the vehicle would be waiting to receive you at the airport. Guests arriving by train are requested to arrive the previous night and stay over at Nagpur and join the others on Day 1 at the Nagpur airport. The drive from Nagpur to Shahnoor takes about 6 hours. You would be stopping for lunch enroute at a veg hotel. Reach the resort by 4PM. Settle in your allocated accommodations. The skipper would meet you all at the lawn to brief about the trip. Groups would then proceed for a interesting Night safari. Dinner and retire at the resort.
Wake up early at 5AM, proceed to the first jungle drive. Safaris would be done by gypys and other SUVs depending. There would be only 4 participants per vehicle to ensure every one gets a window seat for better views of the forests. The participants would be split into two groups and sent to two zones. This zones would be alternated for subsequent safaris. The safaris duration is for 4 hours both in the mornings and evenings. Morning break fast would be served inside the jungle. Lunch would be served at 1PM to 2PM. Afternoon safari would start at 2.30PM. Meet at 7PM to clear any doubts on photography and also share tips to your new friends!! Dinner and retire at the resort.
Though the tigers and leopards are very elusive , one stands a very good chance to sight them during the hot summers. They would be found generally near the water holes quenching their thirst. The other common mammals found here are the sloth bear, barking deers, wild dogs, wild boar, sambhar deers, cheetahs, Nilgai, Indian Gaur, Jackal and Indian fox. The mamas one can expect to sight during the night safaris are Ratel, Indian crested porcupine, Palm Civet and the sometimes the Pangolin.
The forests is home to a multitude of birds. The common ones are Black headed Oriole, Magpir Robin, Lapwings, Racket table drongo, Iora, Indian peafowl, Indian pitta ( found during the summers ), red jungle fowl, Indian grey hornbilll, Owls, Wood peckers, Cresent serpent eagle etc.
There are many reptiles which are rare but can be sighted on a lucky day!!
After a hot tea, proceed to the last safari inside the jungle. Check out at 11AM. Lunch enroute. Drop at Nagpur airport/ station. Return trains or flights from Nagpur to be on or after 8PM. End of tour.

Masai Mara is one of the largest game parks in the world. It lies in the Narok county of Kenya. Formed in the year 1961, this park covers a large area of 1861 sq kms. The word Mara means spotted in Masai language. Spotted with acatia trees these endless plains are a land of wilderness treasures. The open grasslands are filled with cheetah, lion, millions of wildebeest, and over 450 species of birdlife, including vultures, marabou storks, secretary birds, horn- bills, crowned cranes, ostriches, long-crested eagles, and African pygmy falcons. The shy black rhinoceros population is difficult to spot except at a great distance. Mara is usually referred as the Mecca of wildlife. The World biggest spectacle happens when more than 4 million wildebeests and other ungulates cross to the Mara during end July to October. This event attracts more than half a million tourists every year to Maasai Mara.
Arrive to Nairobi, JKIA international airport by 7PM. Our drivers would be ready to pick you up and drop at the hotel ( Ibis or similar ). After a short briefing about the tour, have dinner and retire for the day.
After an early morning breakfast, you would start your journey to Maasai Mara by road. The drive takes about 6 hours and one drives through rift valley. The first stop is at the escarpment, where you can get down and immerse yourself in the beautiful landscape. After a light refreshment, you head to Maasai Mara. Check in the resort ( Kimana or similar ). Spend your time at leisure that evening at the camp fire. Dinner and rest at the resort.
Day 03 to Day 06:
Enjoy morning/ evening game drives at Maasai Mara game reserve with packed breakfast and lunch. Maasai Mara is home for the Big 5 and during this period, one can witness some very interesting river crossings and hunts. This is the best season to explore Mara.
Get up at liesure, have breakfast and drive to Nairobi. Lunch would be served enroute. We would stop over at a curio shop for you to purchase the articles which the Maasai tribe make. End of tour.
