5N 6D Maasai Mara - Big Cats Week, As Green as it Gets!!

Date: Nov 9th to 14th 2018

  • After the big herds of the wildebeests and the ungulates cross over to Tanzania from Mara, the dotted plains of Mara are left with a few of them and the antelopes. This makes things difficult for the cats, and they have to venture out of their territory to hunt. This is the season to get the best of the big cats in acton. The grass is short and green which makes sighting a treat to ones’ eyes. The resident herbivores enjoy this fresh grass and are found in plenty. The Big cats have to move to find food. This makes the Maasai Mara, during November, the best place to sight and photograph the Big Cats.
