    Best Time to visit

    Bhutan is best seen during Summers and springs. During autumn though, there can be a lot of leeches.

  • Day 01 :
    Arrive Phuntsholing. You will be welcomed by our Guide who will be waiting for your arrival. After border formalities are finished will visit one of the hotel for refreshment. Then will drive to Thimphu which is 6 hr drive from Phuntsholing. After reaching Thimphu we will check in to hotel and rest. In the evening, we go stroll in Thimphu town. Dinner and night halt in Thimphu.

    Day 02 :
    The first place you will visit is the Memorial Chorten which was built in memory of the third king in 1974. You can then visit the indigenous hospital, the School of Arts & Crafts to see the live paintings by the students. Then you can visit Tashichhodzong. After lunch, we can continue with site-seeing with Paper factory, a small weaving center, Changangkha monastery, Zangto Pelhri monastery and Zilukha nunnery. In the evening, you can drive to the viewpoint from which you can view the whole Thimphu city and on the way you can also stop and visit a mini zoo to see Takin, the National animal of Bhutan. Later you can go for a walk onyour own in the town. Night halt in Thimphu.

    Day 03 :
    Punakha is a 4 hours drive from Thimphu. On the way you will stop at Dochula (aLtitude 3150 m) and there you can see 108 Druk Wangyel Chorten. If you wish we can stop for tea and sncaks, there is a cafe on the way where you can enjoy a beautiful view. You will then drive down further through temperate forests into semitropical range of orange and cactuses. On the way before you reach a junction of Punakha and Wangdiphodran you will see Chime Lhakhang, built by a famous divine mad monk, Drukpa Kinley. When you reach to Punakha you will see Punakha dzong built on the confluence of Phochu (Male River) and Mochu (Female Rver). Today it is the winter residence of the Je-khenpho the chief abbot and also serves as the administration center of the Punakha district. Overnight at Punakha.

    Day 04 :

    Day 05 :
    After breakfast, we will drive to Bumthang. On the way to Bumthang will stop at Trongsa and visit Trongsa Dzong which is one of the most impressive dzong of Bhutan as it shows one of the most artistic and magnificent works of traditional Bhutanese architecture. We Will have lunch at Trongsa and then we continue to Bumthang through Yotongla. Night halt at Bumthang.

    Day 06 :
    The day's visit with Jambay Lhakhang, which is one of the oldest temples in Bhutan, built in 7th century, Kurjey Lhakhang, is named after the body print of Guru Rinpoche, Tamshing Lhakhang which was established by Terton Pema Lingpa in 1501 and is the most important Nyingma Goenba in the country. After lunch, we will visit Jakar Dzong, castle of the white bird, Mebertsho (Burning Lake) - This is a very scared lake for Bhutanese people. Terton Pema Lingpa discovered several of Guru Rinpoche's hidden treasures from this lake. Dinner and overnight stay at Bumthang.

    Day 07 :
    After breakfast will drive back to Thimphu through the same route that we have followed to reach Bumthang. This is an almost all day journey with beautiful view points. Night halt at Thimphu.

    Day 08 :
    After breakfast. we will hike to Wangditse and after lunch we will roam in Thimphu town and do some shopping. In the evening, will drive to Paro. Dinner and Night Halt at Paro.

    Day 09 :
    In the morning after breakfast will hike to Paro Taktsang, which is one of the most popular monastery visited by the tourist. It was first built in 1692, around the Taktsang Senge Samdup, a cave where Guru Padmasambhava is said to have meditated for three months in the 8th century. It is believed that Guru Rinpoche (Guru Padmasambhava) flew to this location from Khenpajong to Tibet on the back of a tigress and subdued a demon. Subsequently, the place came to be known as the Tiger's Nest. Guru Padmasambhava is known for introducing Buddhism to Bhutan. Today, Paro Taktsang is the best known of the thirteen caves in which he meditated, Kyichu Lhakhang; one of the oldest temple in Bhutan, Drugyel Dzong; fortress which was built to commemorate a victory over Tibetan. In the evening. go on a stroll in Paro town. Dinner and overnight at Paro.

    Day 10: Drive to Phuntsholing for your next destination. Our guide and driver will bid you farewell and we wish you a safe and pleasant journey back home with wonderful memories for a lifetime.

  • Payment Terms

    • Indian nationals: 100% payment on or before 60 days of travel.
    • Foreign Nationals:100% payment on or before 90 days of travel.

    Cancellation Policy

    • 50% refund if cancelled before 50 days of travel.
    • 20% refund if cancelled 30 days before travel.
    • No refund if cancelled after above mentioned days.

    Additional terms

    • This tour requires a general fitness among individuals.
    • A medical certificate will be needed to be produced giving a basic stats of your vitals.Indeminity bond needs to be signed prior to the tour.
