Come join us to treat your eyes to these exotic birds and a riot of colour in the abundant beauty.Sattal is situated in the Lower Himalayan Range and is unique for its biodiversity and ecological amplitude. There are seven inter-connected lakes here and hence the name Sat-tal which means seven lakes in local language. It has 500 species of resident and migratory birds, 20 species of mammals, over 525 species of butterflies and over 11,000 species of moths, beetles, bugs and other insects. The flora covers a wide and diverse range of plants ranging from Bryophytes, orchids, rare climbing plants, ferns, lichens, fungi, medicinal herbs and shrubs. A cluster of pristine lakes set against the captivating surroundings of dense oak and pine woods, Sattal in the state of Uttarakhand unfurls the rustic beauty of the Lower Himalayas. At an altitude of 4000 feet Sattal, also pronounced as Sattal proffers an unruffled environment with abundance of natural flora and fauna. Calm and quite ambiance of Sattal makes this sleepy locale in the outskirts of Nainital as a most memorable and impressive tourism spots. Pangot on the other hand is located about 15 kilometers from Nainital, which is a popular hill station. The drive to here passes through the forested area of Cheena Peak Range via Snow View Point and Kilbury, which are excellent birding spots. India is famous world over for its rich flora and fauna. Pangot is one such beautiful hamlet and walking into Pangot is like stepping into a remote Himalayan village.

Day 01 :
Arrive at Kathgodam railway station around 11AM by a train from Delhi. Drive through the scenic hills and beautiful vistas to reach our resort at Pangot for lunch. Spend the afternoon soaking into the hill station atmosphere here, go for short walks or spend a couple of hours birding in and around the resort. Sun sets pretty quickly here and is also spectacular from various view points. We retire after dinner and a short discussion on our plan for next morning.
Day 02 :
Enjoy the morning and evening drives/walks for birding with expert guides. Meet in the evening for some Learnings, knowledge sharing and/or image reviews. More details on this once we get there.
Day 03/04 :
We start very early this morning and will look for Kokolas, Cheer and Khalij pheasants. We will get back to our resort after having breakfast at a high point with view of snow clad mountains. We checkout around 12 noon and drive to Sattal with lunch on the way.. We go on a birding trail this evening at Sattal.
Day 05 :
This will be our last birding session of the trip. We start early and get on different trails as two groups depending on our target list. We get to Kathgodam to catch our night train to Delhi. End of tour.

Pench National Park is situated in Seoni and Chhindwara districts of Madhya Pradesh in India. It derives its name from the Pench River that flows through the National park from north to south dividing the park into almost equal western and eastern halves- the well forested areas of Seoni and Chhindwara districts respectively.It was declared a sanctuary in 1977 but raised to the status of National park in 1983. Later it was established as Tiger Reserve area in 1992. Park is famous for water rafting, only national park. In year 2011 park won the Best Management Award.

As per Itinerary
Arrive at Nagpur on or before 9 AM. Our vehicles would be ready to pick you up and then drive to Pench. Check into the resort by 12 noon. Lunch is served at 1 PM. At 2.30, head to jungle to enjoy your first drive into the Pench wildlife sanctuary. After safari, we would have a ice breaker session with our Mentor. Dinner and rest at the resort. Most of the pench resorts are well maintained are tourists friendly.
Wake up early morning. Tea is served at a common place. Proceed to the morning drive into the jungle.Early mornings are pleasant and there are chances to get the glimpse of the Royal Bengal. Summers does get hot in Central India, so there one needs to carry Sun screen lotion and neck covers to protect from the Sun. Return to the resort after the morning drive for breakfast. We would have a small session by our Mentor on wildlife photography before lunch. After lunch, proceed to the afternoon safari. This evening, we would have a review of your pictures. Dinner and rest at the resort.
Wake up early as usual and after tea, proceed to the jungle safari. This being the last safari of the tour, one should concentrate to make the best use of it and make memorable pictures. After breakfast, check out and proceed to Nagpur to catch your respective flight back home.

TATR or Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve lies in Chandrapur district of Maharastra in Central India. It is the largest and the oldest national park of Maharastra. Tadoba is a name of the God praised by the forest dwellers and Andhari is the river that meanders through the forest. TATR is very unique that the other forests I have seen cos a road runs across the entire stretch of the jungle and it is a very highly commuted one. Buses ply, villagers use other modes of transport to go to their places, but they peacefully co-exist with the wildlife. The forests are on both the sides of this road. On numerous occasions’ tigers, wild dogs, leopards are sighted on the road and the vehicular movement stops till they get inside the jungle!

Best Time to visit Tadoba
January to March & November to December.
Arrive at Nagpur. Our driver would be waiting to pick you up to drive down to Tadoba. Enjoy the mouthwatering ‘ Sabu dhana’ vadas on the way. Reach Tadoba for lunch. Rest for some time and proceed to safari by 2.30 PM. Though it will be hot, you can get to sight the King of the jungle very easily. He or she would be resting in a water hole and cooling themselves. After safari reach resort for dinner and rest.
Wake up call at 5.30 AM, after tea proceed to safari. Enjoy the wild dogs on a kill or trying to hunt their prey. Drive to the Telia lake to see the famous tigress or even the cubs. Watch the lapwing chase the honey buzzards from their nests. See the crocs basking on the banks. Return to the resort after safari to relish the local delicacy called ‘poha’. Rest till lunch. After lunch proceed to the safari. After safari, meet up to review the pictures and learn the tips on wildlife photography.
Wake up call at 5.30 AM, after tea proceed to safari. Enjoy your last drive into this jungle. The cool breeze would transport you to heaven. The call of the deers and sambars would be music to your ears. The winter mornings turn the place magical. You are again into the jungle, so enjoy the sightings of the big cat, birds and all the other jungle dwellers. Return to the resort for breakfast. After breakfast pack bags for the return journey to Nagpur. Enjoy some good Chenna Bathuras, Choles, and other North Indian food on the way. Depart from Nagpur to respective destinations.
